The Festival of the Forest of the September 22nd and 23rd 2007 which concluded the demonstrations organized at the time of the centenary from our Association was a great success. It joined together in forest, within the exceptional framework of the Large Parquet floor where Histoire and nature are closely bound, more than six thousand visitors over the two days. The multiple aspects of the forest were shown in a ludic form, distributed in six categories: life of the forest, trades of the forest, the forest and art, the sport in forest, animations, exhibitors and institutions. Two principles were retained: static presentations - in the form of 26 covered stands, representing close to 1000m2 of floors - and dynamic presentations - in the form of demonstrations and of animations. In the photographs which follow, we tried to show the interest caused by the various stands and the quality of the animations organized by all the actors of the forest: managers, walkers, hikers, sportsmen, riders, huntsmen, naturalists, security managers…
